Election activities in Glamoc

Glamoc, 22 August, 1997 (AIM) - During the registration process in Glamoc, because of suspicion of manipulation, Supervisor OSCE denied 566 persons to register in Glamoc.

All of them appealed to the Election Appeal Submission OSCE Sarajevo (EAS), and few days ago, they have been given a positive answer. EAS stated that there is no enough evidence that local government or local police intended to manipulate registration, therefore, all 566 persons are free to register for September local elections in Glamoc.

After such decision, Glamoc authorities are very satisfied, but they also ask for an excuse for wrong accusation. (End)
