Banjaluka, 20 August, 1997 (AIM) - Mrs. Biljana Plavsic, RS President received today in Banjaluka H.E. Ives Gaudel, French Ambassador B&H. They talked about actual situation in Banjaluka and RS.

Mrs. Plavsic stated that she believes in French support, while H.E. Ambassador informed that French Government considers RS President decisions as constitutional and legal, describing the pressure on Constitutional Court Judges as unacceptable. "Only peaceful solution for recent crisis in RS is organization of new Parliament elections", said he, pointing out that French aid is distributed equally to both entities.(End)
