RS President is expected to resign

Reactions on verdict

Bijeljina, 16 August, 1997 (AIM) - "All institutions in Republika Srpska have to respect the verdict of RS Constitutional Court, that RS President decision to dismiss the RS Assembly is anti constitutional, and to act in that direction", said Mr. Momcilo Krajisnik, Member B&H Presidency today in Spa "Dvorovi" near Bijeljina, where he attended closing ceremony of two months RS Diplomat Course.

Commenting the verdict, Mr. Aleksa Buha, Acting President SDS, again asked RS President to resign, "as logical result of the verdict of RS Constitutional Court. SDS gave the mandate to Mrs. Plavsic, and it is nothing but normal for her to give it back to the SDS".(End)
