Prolong local election till November
Liberal-Bosniak Organization B&H (LBO)
Sarajevo, 11 August, 1997 (AIM) - "There is no use of September Elections, if all refugees, who want it, are not back to their homes", said at today's press conference Mr. Muhamed Filipovic, President LBO.
According to his opinion, this has been done deliberately, to make new complications in B&H. Therefore, LBO suggests new elections to be organized in November instead in September this year.
Commenting the meeting between the two Presidents in Split last week (B&H and Croatia), he described it as "... the biggest handicap of President Izetbegovic's authority, at this moment. B&H politics came too fare in deterioration towards Croats. This was a good moment for Tudman, to take off a great part of international community mortgage".
The proof is the events in Jajce, where only a day after the meeting, the Bosniak's families were expelled. Therefore, LBO thinks that there is no actual improvements in implementation either of Dayton Agreement or B&H and Croat agreements.(End)
