19 548 candidates of political parties registered

Brčko, 9 August, 1997(AIM) - " 19 548 candidates are registered for the September elections and put on the lists of political parties in Republika Srpska (RS) and Federation of B&H (F B&H), and OSCE approved their candidacies " said Mr. Paul Hockenas, OSCE spokesman in Tuzla, at the press conference held in this city today.

He also said that the number of citizens of Brcko in Federation, who registered for the elections in September, is not final, and there would be no complete checking of the voters' lists at the time of supposed announcement of the final number.(end)
