Irregularities in the registration process

Glamoč, 09 August, 1997(AIM) - 600 names are missing on the preliminary voters' list of the registered citizens in Glamoc municipality, for which OSCE established irregularities in the registration process. During the two weeks operating of the Commission for complaints of the local Elective agency, only 47 voters submitted complaints.

The comment of one expatriated person from Banja Luka describes the best general mood of people who were withdrawn from the voter's list and the low interest with respect to the Complaint Commission: " Who should I complain to? Serbs denied me the right to vote five years ago, now OSCE is doing the same. Should I now return to Banja Luka wherefrom I fled and barely managed to keep head on my shoulders? I did not file a complaint, since it has no use".(end)
