Election program "For the future" announced

Banja Luka, 6 August, 1997 (AIM) - "Social Liberal Party RS (SLSRS) adopted general election program under the title "For the future", while separate local election programs will be made for the municipalities with SLSRS candidates", stated Mr. Dorde Latinovic, the president of the party on the press conference today.

According to Mr. Latinovic, SLSRS will enter the elections in 17 municipalities in B&H, that is to say in nine RS municipalities, seven municipalities in the Federation of B&H together with Socialist Party RS as "Zavicaj", and in coalition with SP RS, Serb Peasant Party and Social Democrats in the Drvar municipality.

"Social problems are now the prime concern. The strike showed that the age of great illusions has passed and that the survival and essential existence are the most significant condition" said Mr. Slobodan Popovic, commenting on the strike of the "Incel" employees and added that it was the shame that no one from the top authorities appeared to speak to workers on strike.(end)
