Sarajevo, 04 August, 1997 (AIM) - "Democratization, as the crucial issues in the political life of B&H, is directly dependent of the cessation of power monopoly of the national parties currently in power." stated Mr. Salih Foco, Vice-president of Liberal Bosniak Organization B&H (LBO B&H) on the press conference today. Explaining the Election Platform of LBO B&H in the oncoming elections, Mr. Foco emphasized that the election slogan of the Party "For the new age, the new people" was the consequence of new conditions and the new concept of political system in B&H.

The losers and those wanting to revive the war, according to LBO, "can not remain in power." Mr. Foco further states that the model of effective and profitable authority, contained in the election platform of LBO B&H, implies "the authorities which will solve people's problems using far less number of ministers and ministries in short time periods in comparison to the current situation. Recent events in Vogosca and Jajce have a common feature, which is being a consequence of the means of politics which is carried out by authorities, currently present on the public scene."

"The populace is facing dead end and attempting to turn this situation to the attention of international community by any means. It is high time for the people involved and in charge of these tragic events to be held responsible and relieved promptly of their duties" emphasized Mr. Foco. (end)
