Croat Peasant Party B&H (HSS B&H)

Sarajevo,02 August, 1997 (AIM) - "Croat Peasant Party B&H (HSS B&H) requests execution of agreement on Constitution of the Sarajevo city, signed by obliged parties (SDA and HDZ) last year" stated Mr. Slobodan Krstic, secretary general of the party on the press conference today. Sarajevo needs to regain the reputation it had during the Olympic Games in 1984. This postponing and disrespecting of the Dayton Accord is evaluated by HSS as dirty actions and plans of certain political leaders in power.

Mr. Stanko Sliþkoviå, President of HSS B&H, emphasized that it was the high time for citizens to understand that B&H was expression of their meaninglessness, irrespective of their nationality. He further added that citizens would ensure safe and prosperous future through voting for the people who truly work for the benefit of this country.

Renewed engagement of Mr. R. Holbrooke in B&H was evaluated Mr. Sliþkoviå as the new step of international community in the process of sanctioning the those in power, followed by punishment of entities.

HSS B&H, as he announced, would enter local elections together with Joint List 97, and they would start officially their pre-election campaign for unified, multinational B&H, today. (end)
