Estimated damage of 591 million DEM

Doboj, 31 July, 1997 (AIM) - According to the information of the Municipal Commission for registration and evaluation of damage caused by the war in the municipality of Doboj, 18.417 buildings were damaged during the war. The commission estimated the value of damage for buildings, agricultural land, domestic and wild animals and forests to be 591 million DEM.

Information further states that " elaborated works on war destruction of the infrastructure as well as goods in the field of culture are currently being prepared". ".

Fifteen experts from various fields spent approximately 17000 DEM from the municipal budget, while the Institute of Economics was paid 3000 DEM for processing the data.(end)
