Loan under favorable conditions

AMK from Posusje started loan approvals

Posuþje, 29 July, 1997(AIM)- AMK Agency from Posuþje in collaboration with World Bank, and through "Loan" from Sarajevo, started approving loans to loan applicants who fulfill certain conditions. The loan funds are intended firstly to demobilized soldiers, displaced persons and returnees, members of the family members of killed soldiers, war veterans and some such.

The loan amount ranges between 500 and 1.000 DEM with the payback due date ranging from 3 to 12 months and fixed monthly interest rate of 1 to 1,25 percent, while grace period was not anticipated but the loan users could arrange it. Loan funds are generally intended for agricultural production and cattle-breeding, service businesses, then investment in new businesses as well as present ones and acquisition of the operational tools, adaptation of business premises and working capital.(end)
