OSCE mandate to be rechecked

Pale, 26 July, 1997 (AIM) - Regarding coming local elections in September, RS Government, at yesterday's session, asked to be provided with complete voters lists, before the elections take place.

Discussing the OSCE Election Implementation Plan, which regulates matters regarding voters registration, RS Government decided to form "Permanent Expert Body, which is to expertise this Plan, perceive the OSCE ingerentions, recheck its mandate and take the position if there are some new conditions for September elections".

RS Government is of the opinion, that mentioned OSCE Plan should be distributed to the Presidency SDS, so that they can make an official standing.(End)
