Alternative Board of Ministers B&H
Sarajevo, July, 28 1997, (AIM) - Disappearance of millions of dollars of international aid which was intended for the restoration and reconstruction of B&H - mentioned by the international factors of the highest level - as well as alarming level of economical crime in the Federation of B&H, the latest situation in RS, corruption, economic misdeeds mostly done by known individuals and structures of authority in the populace of both entities of B&H are just some reasons for the joint statement of the Presiding Minister in the Alternative Board of Ministers B&H (ABM), Mr. Sejfudin Tokic and his deputies, Mr. Miodrag Zivanovic and Mr. Zeljko Ivankovic, stating:
"Deeply concerned by numerous warnings by relevant members of international community (IC) with respect to the ties of certain authorities of the state and structures in B&H to the net of organized criminals which confirms well known suspicions of the citizens of B&H, Alternative Board of Ministers B&H (ABM B&H) requests an energetic and independent investigation by IC with respect to this issue. Since these wide-range criminal acts obviously partially involved State security police i.e. certain structures in the Ministry of Internal Affairs on all levels, Alternative Board of Ministers B&H requests a separate investigation by the international police engaged in B&H(IPTF). Economical crime and corruption is highly dominant behavior in certain environments and institutions of current structures of the state authority. Members of ABM B&H observe such behavior and practices and use it for concrete activities in the struggle against Mafia net in the entire region of B&H. Such behavior of the top of national parties currently in power shows the amount of their care for the populace, since it involves risk of cancellation of the international aid which would bring the populace more misery, starvation endangering seriously people of this region.
ABM B&H requested an independent, effective inquiry by the international community in order to finally put down the accounts to the citizens of B&H for the crime which currently disturbs the very foundation of this country and hinders its political and economical restoration and successful perspective of the future" is announced in the statement of the ABM B&H.(end)
