Mr. Filipovic explains where Mr. Robin Cook went wrong!?

Sarajevo, July 28, 1997. (AIM) - On today's press conference, Mr. Muhamed Filipovic, President of non-parliamentary Liberal- Bosniak Organization of B&H (LBO B&H), reviewed the statement of Mr. Robin Cook, British Minister of Foreign Affairs in which he announced that he would inform the public in B&H about evasion of the resources intended for the restoration and reconstruction of B&H, as an imprudence of British Foreign Office.

Mr. Filipovic underlined that new British Government is searching for mistakes of B&H Government", stressing further that British mediators in UN dictated the politics in B&H during and immediately after the war in our country.

The manner in which Mr. Cook appears on the scene in B&H will have crucial significance for political campaign in B&H. According to Mr. Filipovic, this will give another opportunity to national parties which will use this step as a justification for the continuation of their activities.

"Laborists are not in power for a long time now, hence they are not acquainted with situation in B&H. Their calculation is somewhat hasty, hence this could bounce back into their faces like boomerang" emphasized Mr. Filipovic. (end)
