Sarajevo, 22 July, 1997 (AIM) - 'Sarajevo' Canton Government signed today Contract of unknown value with representatives of 'Agrokomerc" Velika Kladusa. The working title of the Contract is 'Protocol on business Intentions', and it actually defines finalization of the Trade Center Building. Because of the 'Agrokomerc Affair' the building have been stopped eight years ago.

'Agrokomerc' will organize an auction, and firms with best offers will be engaged. That is the reason why there is no specific value of the project.

"We are not aware of all details of the project, but we know 'Agrokomerc' intentions, and we support it", said Mr. Hazim Zecevic, Cantonal Minister of Economy, adding that this "...is an important project for Sarajevo, which would result with a representative Trade Center in the middle of capitol. Also, there will be 200 new jobs, and that proves that commerce is braking all borders. If wee have buyers and producers, it does not matter where the investment comes from - the profit it what counts!", said Mr. Midhat Haracic, Governor 'Sarajevo' Canton.(End)
