Parliament session in August

Pale, 22 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mr. Dragan Kalinic, President RS People Assembly, which was dismissed by RS President decision on 13 July, 1997, scheduled a session for 8 August, 1997. Mrs. Biljana Plavsic, RS President has been invited to attend the session. At the last meeting at 4 and 5 July, 1997 on Jahorina, present were 48 MP from SDS and SRS RS.

According yesterday's announcement from Kalinic Cabinet, the subject of meeting will be "analysis of realization of recent People Assembly decisions, regarding certain activities of RS Government and it's Ministries obligations". Because of the huge agenda, the session is planed to last two days.

    Same time, the RS Constitutional Court will have a public process

regarding the RS President decision on dismission of Parliament. Mr. Miodrag Simovic, Secretary RS Constitutional Court, stated in an interview to Belgrade "Vecernje novosti", that process can not be opened before 10 August, 1997, if Mrs. President decide to use a maximum time limit of 15 days, to give her response on RS Government suggestions for expertise of her decision.(End)
