Protest to the High Representative

Banjaluka, 17 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mr. Slavko Zupljanin, President SPAS, informed at today's press conference, that his party sent the "Note of Protest" to the High Representative OUN B&H, regarding recent events in Prijedor.

"We are asking to stop bringing to the court accused for war crime, because it is impossible to proclaim one ethnic group, Serb, as war criminals", said he, accusing RS leadership because it was not gathering material about war crime committed from other sides, so to make a contra balance in the number of accused. He warned of possible reactions of certain civil groups, if SFOR continues with similar actions. Also, he criticized activities of state media, calling them "Factories of lies and false informations".(End)
