One doctor for 7.000 patients

Alarming situation in Health Care

Livno,16 July, 1997 (AIM)- In Drvar municipality, there are about 7.000 persons from 47 B&H municipalities and only on general practitioner. For urgent and serious intervention, patients have to go to the Livno Medical Center, 110 kms. from Drvar. There were no candidates for published vacancies for medical staff, even the apartments are provided by Municipal Government.

The solutions, in this moment, is an agreement with doctors, specialists from Bihac, who will come once a week to Drvar to treat the Drvar patients.(End)
