No more meetings

Banjaluka, 16 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mr. Dragutin Ilic, Vice President Socialist Party RS, stated at today's press conference, that SP RS decided that with meetings nothing can be solved, therefore, they will take part no more at opposition meetings: "People informed that it wants the changes, and the word was sent to Pale leadership. That is enough. The meetings can be used for incidents also", said he, while Mr. Zivko Radisic, President SP RS added, that SP RS is supporting other kinds of democrat dialog, and if there were some obstacles, than there will be no elections, and SP RS will join the meetings. He stated that RS Constitutional Court must be objective, neutral and out of every day's politics: "We will respect the decision of RS Constitutional Court".

Mr. Ilic stated that "the conflict in RS top leadership became a personal one. Therefore, we ask State medias and organs to act calm, without high tensions". He informed that SP RS suggested that SRT organize a serial of political emissions where political parties and independent intellectuals would be able to suggest their solutions for recent creases in RS.(End)
