B&H is in obligation to Sandzak

Sarajevo,14 July, 1997 (AIM) - "Sandzak is entering into political fight, as one of unstable Balkan regions", stated Mr. Muhamed Filipovic, at today's LBO press conference, adding that "B&H as a state, is in obligation to support the autonomy of Sandzak. But, such politics has not been defined, nor there is any document regarding this subject". B&H should intervene, bringing it in front of the international community, otherwise, it is to be expected "Albania events" in Sandzak.

Asked by the present journalist, why such politics has not been defined, Mr. Filipovic answered: "I have always been against idea that SDS Sandzak is a branch of SDA B&H. LBO is to organize a panel discussion where 'Sandzak Resolution' should be adopted. B&H must include Sandzak in it's politics - that is a condition for solution of
B&H interior as well, as foreign relations".(End)
