Mysterious death of Director

Tragic interentity trade

Sarajevo,11 July, 1997 (AIM) - Last night, in Sarajevo was published an information, that on the road Pale - Sarajevo, near restaurant "Dayton", a body of Radenko Bogdanovic was found.

He was one of the founders of Serb Consulting Council (today Serb Civil Council - SGV) in Sarajevo, but also, he was well known businessman - Director "General Markets Sarajevo" (GMS) who had good relations with firms in RS, which he represented, according to some informations, in B&H Federation, Croatia and Serbia.

Regarding the information from Cantonal Ministry of Interior, he vanished on Saturday, 05 July, 1997 after 16:00 hours, but he was reported as missing day after. He was last seen in front of the restaurant "Dayton" in RS. Cantonal Police gave no informations about the time, nor commented what happened, except that they reported his missing to the IPTF and OUN on Sunday, 06 July, 1997.

IPTF stated that some friend of Bogdanovic informed them, that his body has been transported to Pale for identification and autopsy. SGV issued an announcement which states that SGV, on 07 July, 1997, about his missing B&H Federal Ministry of Interior, State Commission for vanished persons and B&H Presidency Commission of Appeals

There were no other comments, except from UBSD: Mr. Sejfudin Tokic, President Executive Board UBSD stated: "Mr. Bogdanovic was engaged in interentity trade, and the failure to clear up his death is just another prove of Federal Police inefficiency. There are quit a few inexplicable cases in both entity's Police Ministries. It seams that only solution is, an independent investigation of independent organs: IPTF".(End)
