The President RS to the President of Serbia

Banjaluka, 09 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mrs. Biljana Plavsic, President RS answered to the letter received from Mr. Slobodan Milosevic, President of Serbia:

"Thank You for Your letter and Your concern for the situation in RS. I want You to know that I offered, at the several meetings with Mr. Krajisnik, Member B&H Presidency, compromise solutions. Unfortunately, every time I have been told 'Come to Pale, and include yourself in present politics'. If You think that, after such answer, which was repeated several times, and which I can not accept, the solution can be found, I invite You to Banjaluka to discuss the destiny of RS people at the RS territory.

After my holding and deportation from the Belgrade airport on 29 June, this year, I am not able to accept Belgrade as a meeting point", stays in the Mrs. Plavsic's letter.(End)
