Only solution: Elections

Banjaluka, 8 July, 1997 (AIM) - "SNSD RS support standing of the RS President, and suggest that only solution for recent situation is new elections and Provisional RS Government", stated Mr. Milorad Dodik, President SNSD RS, adding that, 'Pale group' should accept it that way. Any postponetion of the elections will, in any case, endangered RS.

Mr. Nenad Bastinac, Member of the Main Board SNSD RS and Ex MP, is surprised by Gen. Colic letter to Mrs. Plavsic, President RS, because with such move, the RS Army is stepping deeply into politics. "We warned that changes in RS Army are leading to it's destruction and transformation to the Party Army. Recent situation in RS Army top positions is such, that they are enable to organize 'Coup d' Etat' even in a single municipality. Therefore, it is very irresponsible to try to do anything by force", said Mr. Bastinac.(End)
