Pale, 03 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mr. Dragan Kalinic, President RS People Assembly, stated last night that he is surprised by Mrs. Plavsic threats about dismissal of the Assembly, and her public attack at Mr. Karadzic, because she was appointed to the present function by his will. Also, he was surprised because Mrs. Plavsic, in her TV announcement, "published the letters and documents which have a character of state secret".

    He denied a personal duel with Mrs. Plavsic because of "really

hard situation in the Country", stating that "RS MP will themselves give the answer about democracy and tolerance in the People Assembly".(End)
