Mr. Toholj suspended SRT Studio Banjaluka

Pale, 04 July, 1997 (AIM) - Mr. Miroslav Toholj, Director General SRT and MP and Member of the Main Board SDS, suspended last night SRT Studio Banjaluka, few minutes before evening main news term at 19:30 hours. News were emitted completely from Studio Pale.

The Announcement from Pale says that, SRT Banjaluka is out of order till further information, because Mrs. Plavsic and her Cabinet members were forcing editors and journalists in Banjaluka, to obey their orders regarding the TV program.

Shortly, after Mrs. Plavsic announced dismissal of the People Assembly, Mr. Toholj stated that he was trying to contact her, but it was useless: "I found Mr. Prica, her Chief of Cabinet, issuing orders about the concept of TV program. I ordered him to leave the room immediately and to remove armed guards. Also I ordered him to stop bringing SRT staff to the police station in Banjaluka".
