Weak response of the voters in Kupres

Livno, 01 July, 1997 (AIM) - For coming, September elections, in Livno region there will be 16.568 possible voters (77,80% compared to the last election), while those numbers, in the municipalities of Tomislav Grad and Kupres, are smaller: in Tomislav Grad there are 12.048 registered persons (67,60%) and in Kupres 1.796 persons (43,30%).

The best response of the voters is in the region of Glamoc municipality, where there are 3.185 registered voters (87,90%).

All together, in mentioned four municipalities, there are 33.597 registered voters, including 1.542 refugees who decided to vote in absence in the municipalities from which they were expelled, and another 88 persons who will vote personally in the municipalities where they used to live before 1991.

According to the OSCE Office Livno, the citizens made 306 complaints during the registration process.(End)
