Seminar "Woman's influence on the local politics"

Livno, 30 June, 1997 (AIM) - In organization of the German Charitable Foundation "Conrad Addenauer Stifftung", in Livno was a Seminar with subject "Woman's influence in the local politics".

The Honorable guest was Mrs. Margot Widding, Acting Mayor of Borhim, who made an opening speech, in which she informed about difficulties facing the member of this female organization, founded 25 years ago.

"Even, we had no money support, we succeeded in our activities thanks to our persistence and we achieved significant results in social and cultural areas", stated Mrs. Widding.

The organization of mentioned Seminar was supported by local OSCE Office, and, about 20 women from "Herzeg Bosnia" Canton took active part in it.(End)
